Leading our practice is Dr. Charles Whitworth, a highly respected veterinarian who has been caring for pets in Madison and North Alabama for more than 35 years. Dr. Whitworth is known for his diagnostic expertise, surgical skill, and dedication to the highest standards of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Whitworth earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, one of the nation’s most respected veterinary programs. Since then, he has built a reputation for providing trusted, knowledgeable, and compassionate care for dogs and cats throughout Madison, Huntsville, Decatur, and surrounding communities.
Dr. Brooke Rice, DVM earned her bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Auburn University in 2006. She later attended Ross University School of Veterinarian Medicine in Saint Kitts, where she pursued her Doctorate in Vererinary Medicine. Dr. Rice completed her clinical year at Auburn University and graduated in 2016.
Brooke joined Whitworth Animal Clinic in 2025 as an associate of Dr. Whitworth. She immediaately integrated into the clinic bringing additional in-demand skills such as dentistry, pet vaccinations, and wellness exams.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and anything beach related.
